"When we first met Tom and Joanne late last summer, we had already been looking at houses on our own for several months with little success. We had a long list of requirements, a strict upper limit on price, and, with a baby due in December, a timeline that was beginning to look unrealistic. At our first meeting, Tom commented that it would be reasonable to expect to be in our new home by Thanksgiving. We were doubtful.

As it turned out, we moved into our dream house before Halloween.

As first time home buyers, the entire process was a bit intimidating to us. Tom and Joanne took the time to outline the steps that we would go through and answered all of our questions, no matter how basic. Right off the bat, much of the mystery and intrigue was removed. We felt confident that if we chose to work with Tom and Joanne, we could rely on them to make sure that every step of the process was taken care of promptly and professionally. After having gone to many open houses, we had met a lot of real estate agents, and none of them had inspired the trust and confidence that we felt after our initial meeting with Tom and Joanne.

When we began to look at houses, the feeling of trust deepened. Tom and Joanne had clearly not only listened to our list of wants and needs, but they had used their professional experience to extrapolate what other items would be important to a couple like us. They selected houses in a variety of price ranges, many of which were well below our upper price limit. It became very clear that Tom and Joanne did not just want to get us into "a” house – they wanted to find us "the” house.

And that is just what they did. Tom called the day before one of house hunting outings with a new address to add to the list. This house had gone on the market one day earlier, was priced within our range, and met every requirement on our list. When we saw the house, it was love at first sight. We knew it was made for us. The only problem? There was already an offer on the house, and it was due to expire at 5 p.m. that same day. But we needn’t have worried. Tom guided us through the offer process, making several subtle suggestions that reflected his years of professional experience in the field. He spent his entire Sunday working with us and with the seller in order to help us craft the perfect offer letter. And it was accepted.

From that day until the closing, Tom and Joanne made the process as pain free as possible for us. We were constantly impressed with Tom and Joanne’s extensive professional network. They recommended a mortgage broker, an inspection company, and an attorney who we could work with. Tom was present for every minute of the home inspection, the walk-through, and the closing. He came to our apartment personally to pick up paperwork. We knew Tom and Joanne had an impressive business, but they always made us feel like we were the only clients they were working with at that time. "I highly recommend the Tom and Joanne team to represent you if you are considering listing your home for sale. I was very satisfied with their services in selling my home at 715 Boston Post Road in Weston earlier this year.

I contacted them in mid-April 2010 at the recommendation of a friend who had also used their services. I first met with Tom to discuss my interest in a quick, clan sale of my property which I had owned for nearly 30 years. I later met with Joanne and completed the necessary paperwork for listing the property. Though I certainly loved my home, I knew that it has some draw backs (on a busy road and an unusual floor plan) that might make it more difficult to sell.

Together, we worked out a strategy to price the house aggressively and merchandise it creatively. Tom recommended Saturday and Sunday open houses on the weekend it was first listed - with any and all bids to be held for presentation to me at 6:00pm the following Monday evening.

It is important to note that I was traveling on business almost non-stop during the listing, negotiating, and closing activities. Tom and Joanne managed everything very smoothly -- from faxing and emailing necessary documents, scheduling conference calls, overseeing inspections, and getting documents to my attorney while I was away.

Throughout the process, they were very professional and often went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that everything went smoothly and came to a successful conclusion right on schedule.
