Bio:
Liz joins Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty as a Vice President with more than twenty years as a broker in the Boston Real Estate profession. Being from a Boston Real Estate family, she has been around Real Estate her entire life. She has always been a knowledgeable top producer in the Boston Real Estate market.
She specialized in the sale of Back Bay, Beacon Hill and South End buildings to developers. She then acquired the condominiums they developed to sell on an exclusive basis, often times marketing the condominiums from floor and site plans. She also sold properties on the Boston Waterfront.
During this period she developed property herself, such as 220 Commonwealth Avenue. She transformed this “as is” building into four luxury condominiums, selling three and keeping one for her portfolio. She also bought land in Nantucket as an investment, developed and sold it.
She also was proprietor of her own Real Estate company, E.C. Healey Real Estate and Investments, where she specialized in working with pension funds and international investors. She also sold luxury residential property throughout the city.
Liz is proud of her diligent work for clients in Boston’s West End neighborhood, Charles River Park, Hawthorne Place and Whittier Place.
She was a former Trustee of 396 Beacon Street and 220 Commonwealth Avenue. Liz was also a prominent member of the Owner’s Committee at 85 East India Row (Harbor Towers), an organization that successfully preserved the integrity of the outside portico of the building.
Liz carefully oversees every aspect of a Real Estate transaction and is experienced in all aspects of brokerage. She is known for her masterful negotiation skills, and in bringing both buyer and seller together.
Liz has her Massachusetts Real Estate Broker’s License. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. Prior to her Real Estate career, she was a teacher in the Boston Public Schools. She is an Art Collector and a patron of the arts in both Boston and New York City. Liz is well known and respected in the Boston Real Estate community.
