Andrew Friedland joined Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty after 9 years of real estate sales experience in Boston’s Back Bay, Beacon Hill, South End, Brookline, Fenway, Waterfront, North End, Midtown, Charlestown and South Boston areas.
Andrew has a unique skill set to offer his clients. He earned an MBA in Marketing & Finance and an MS in Engineering. He also has 25 years of experience in purchasing, renovating, managing and selling real estate as a property owner. Therefore, he brings a comprehensive understanding of the financial and technical/repair issues facing home owners and home buyers. His approach is patient and diligent so as to be sure that the clients’ individual needs and goals are being met.
As an active member of the Neighborhood Association of Back Bay and the Boston Center for Adult Education, Andrew has a true Bostonian’s sense of the city. Given that he has also, himself, relocated to several different cities across the country, he has become a relocation and “empty nester” specialist. In both cases, he assists his clients in finding, not just the right home, but the right neighborhood in which to begin their new lives.
Andrew is a member of the National Association of Realtors, The Greater Boston Real Estate Board and MLSpin. He has earned his Accredited Buyers Representative certificate as well as his Broker’s License.
Andrew teaches real estate classes at the Boston Center for Adult Education in the art of buying and selling a home in Boston. His new course, "Exploring Your Move to Boston" is being offered at various suburban venues. He also volunteers his time and resources to the Neighborhood Association of Back Bay (NABB), the Boston Conservatory, the Boston Ballet, Symphony United Neighbors, Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly and the Alvin Ailey Summer Camp. Andrew is a big proponent of the arts and is himself a painter.
