Bio:

Mary Ann Tecce comes to Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty with an extensive resume. From obtaining her real estate license in the 1970s, Mary Ann had quite the journey to get to where she is today as a successful real estate broker. Born in Philadelphia and raised in New Jersey, Mary Ann moved to New York City before setting her roots in The Greater Boston Area’s Beacon Hill, Back Bay, North End and now currently in the South End neighborhood.

While raising her daughter Claire, she worked on various committees at Beacon Hill Nursery, The Park School, The Winsor School and Boston Latin School.

Prior to being a Mom she worked in the publishing industry for Boston Magazine, United Marine Publishing and Women’s Wear Daily and W Magazine.. She has served on committees and boards for The Boys and Girls Club of Boston, the Brookline Music School, The Greater Boston Visitors and Convention Bureau, The Carroll Center for the Blind, Newton and The Sophia Snow House, West Roxbury. She has also worked as a Docent for the Moakley U.S. Court House Public Education Program.

Although Mary Ann received her real estate license quite some time ago, it was in the more recent years that she determined this career path was her true calling. Beginning in 2010, Mary Ann has built up a heralded resume in real estate from her frequent transactions in and around Boston. She would agree that there is no challenge nor style of property that she is unable to handle. While certainly specializing in individuals who are looking to leave their suburban lifestyle for the city, Mary Ann’s level of service always embraces any task or job, finishing them to the highest possible degree for her clients.

Mary Ann developed a strong sense for bonding with all types of people. She has been praised for, in essence, ‘adopting’ clients she works with by establishing a relationship that lasts longer than any transaction itself. This notion of caring for the people she works with has led to her already thriving real estate career. Her putting others first and staying in touch for future real estate needs, both as a friend and as a committed agent has been her trademark.
