Originally a web developer by trade, Ed has been involved in the real estate and information technology industries since he was eighteen. Since then he has been everything from the co-owner of a bootstrapped web design and development firm, an IT consultant and an entrepreneur. Most recently Ed has loaned his skills to numerous animal rescue operations in the Boston area and has succeeded in helping many small shelters expand their presence on the web. He brings a strong appreciation of the power of social media and search engine optimization to the Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty team.
Ed is a strong supporter of the sciences, standards compliant web design and the possibilities the web presents to marketers. He joined our marketing department in early 2011 and helps our agents with their online marketing efforts. In his spare time Ed appreciates typography, food and writing speculative fiction.
