Boston Ranks Third Highest in International Real Estate Community

In todays ever increasingly technological world, ways in which we do business are constantly evolving. In the real estate markets here in Boston and internationally, no longer are we faced with a round trip plane ticket just to see real estate we may never end up having an interest in. Now we are able to search websites and databases from wherever we are, viewing virtual tours, videos, high resolution photos and other materials from the comforts of our own living room thousands of miles away.

Realtor.com is a real estate listing portal. What started as a US-based idea has caught on to the trend of our globalizing world and has thus allowed for ways to diversify its visitors. 900,000 home buyers every month in the United States are relocating internationally. The top five foreign nations visiting Realtor.com are; Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia and India. China, it must be noted, is expected to make the biggest leap up this ladder in the near future. In addition, many of the worlds most frequently spoken languages are now able to be converted from English for property descriptions and website navigational purposes; this is only going to expand in time.

The most exciting news is that of the cities in the United States that are commonly searched for properties, Boston ranks as the third highest from the international community! Large cities such as New York and Los Angeles are ranked seventh and fourth internationally, while Chicago and Las Vegas are standing ahead of Boston as the top one and two rankings respectively. Its clear from these recently released figures that Boston is a top destination for international real estate buyers.
