Currently, there are some twenty-six new projects in the works in and around our great city of Boston, this according to the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Furthermore, an additional forty-five have already had their plans approved with even five more that are currently under review. Evidently, the Boston skyline in the next decade will look drastically different to what we see today, and this is certainly a wonderful thing.
Across the country there has not been as much activity in the construction industry as there has been here at our local level. Of course, many factors contribute to this that we constantly have discussed. From our blog detailing the increased need for banks to flock to Boston, to another blog discussing our economy or even one about the state of our booming Real Estate market, there is much optimism piping throughout the Hub.
So out of all of the large projects mentioned above, which are the ones thought to be the most influential? Well, the Boston Business Journal recently released their opinion of the top ten developments out of the some seventy-six or so that are in the works that they believe are sure to reshape the way in which we look at our city for the prolonged future. Have a look to the list below (in no specific order or ranking) and a gander at the link at the base of this blog for the renderings of these projects.
