By implementing the new mTicket for the Commuter Rail and the Ferry, the company has made leaps and bounds to making travel that much easier for the consumer. With smartphones abundant, this new application allows individuals to both buy and then display a ticket all from their cellular device.

From monthly passes, to single ride, to round trip or even 10-ride passes, it can all be purchased in a matter of seconds. The CharlieCard is included and will allow passengers to just tap and go for any fare rate. What it all summates to are these simple facts:
