Want a quick sound bite on what October experienced in the Nationwide Real Estate industry? Well then the following is all the water cooler talk you need. October proved to be yet another formidable month in the Real Estate industrys climb towards prosperity. This year, home prices specifically increased 2.9% over the same corresponding month in 2011, whereas rental appreciation was even more impressive with a 5.1% improvement in rates over October, 2011. Despite this price figure bump of +2.9% being ever-so optimistic, when distressed homes are removed from the equation we see that home prices went up by an even larger amount of 3.6% during the same October year-over-year statistics. Furthermore, a far smaller sample size of data from September of 2012 to this past October proved home prices still climbed a respectable 0.7% in just one month.
