The new projects just keep on coming. With much of Bostons Downtown, Seaport District, Back Bay, and more being defined by cranes, yet another neighborhood is seeing a great deal of construction activity. The South End will also soon see many more residences built with the exciting announcement that 600 Harrison has just received approval from the Boston Redevelopment Authority.
Located at 600 Harrison Avenue, this address will consist of 193,300 square feet, and will see 160 luxurious apartments added to the currently very low inventory. Currently a parking lot, the future building will also feature 3,600 square feet of ground floor retail space and even an underground parking lot.
Some of the other noteworthy South End developments that have been in the pipeline include Sepia Boston, the Ink Block development, and even the large apartment complex at 345 Harrison. In addition, there are rumblings that there may be a future redevelopment of the property at 775 Harrison. Ultimately, given all of these superb projects, there is much to look forward to for those looking to find a place to live in Boston. 2014 continues to be off to quite the impressive start both in terms of the performance of the market and the news of all of these eventual groundbreakings.
