We are proud to be sponsoring Harvard Squares very first free outside rapid charging station. Situated at 6 JFK Street, in a CVS vestibule, this rapid charging station provides a public accommodation for the many students, residents and visitors in need of a quick charge.
Other members of the Harvard Square Business Association have come together alongside us in support of this project including Cambridge Savings Bank, CVS, SplitNGo, Grendels Den and The Sinclair.
The part of this project that especially excites us is the voluntary charitable component attached to it. If users want to show their appreciation for the rapid charge, they can easily and safely make a donation to a featured non-profit that serves the Harvard Square community, said Denise Jillson, executive director of the Harvard Square Business Association (HSBA).
The featured non-profit for the public launch is Y2Y Harvard Square, a student run homeless shelter for young adults ages 18-24 opening in November 2015.
