Gibson Sothebys International Realty, recently participated in the 2016 Sothebys International Realty Global Networking Event. The event, which took place from May 16th through May 18th in Las Vegas, Nevada, brought together approximately 2,300 members of the Sothebys International Realty network, with more than 165 of the brands companies represented from 40 countries and territories worldwide.

Held at the Wynn Las Vegas, the Sothebys International Realty Global Networking Event was a dynamic three-day immersion into the brand, offering network members the unique opportunity to collaborate, share ideas and best practices, generate referrals and create lasting business connections around the world. The general sessions featured inspiring, emotional and motivational speeches from Sothebys International Realty Affiliates LLCs Philip White, president and chief executive officer, Wendy Purvey, chief marketing officer, and Francis X. Santangelo, senior vice president, global operations; as well as keynote speaker Daniel Lamarre, president and chief executive officer of Cirque du Soleil, and closing speaker Joe Castillo, the worlds premier SandStory performer.

There were over 35 different breakout sessions offered, ranging in topic from sales and negotiation tactics, to the changing landscape and demographics of home ownership, to the power of branding and marketing, and more. More than 120 Sothebys International Realty network members volunteered to play an integral part in the sessions, sharing advice, best practices and personal experiences with their peers while serving as breakout hosts, guest speakers and expert panelists.
