Last night Gibson Sothebys International Realtys Cambridge office was lucky enough to host Hasan Semerci, founder and principal of Adnan & Hasan, a handwoven carpet and kilims company from Istanbul, Turkey. Hasan and his team helped kickstart Gibsons brand new Artisan Series. He presented his ornately designed, hand woven Turkish rugs, and shared his knowledge of weaving techniques from Persia to Central Asia. It was Gibson Sotheby's International Realty's pleasure to learn more about this art form and to have the opportunity to purchase such finely crafted pieces.
We were honored to host this Artisan Series at our Cambridge office, as we embrace the natural relationship that exists between the art of Sothebys Auction House and the extraordinary homes of Sothebys International Realty. Our exclusive magazine, Art & Home is an example of the literary collaboration between the art and real estate worlds.
