Coming back for its second year, PorchfestFEST is celebrating the popularity of a traditional porchfest, on a larger scale. Listen to talented musicians from surrounding towns such as Dorchester, Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and Mattapan. The event is family friendly and there are several activities for children such as do-it-yourself arts and crafts.
Book Sale at the Boston Public Library

The City-Wide Friends of BPL will be hosting their book sale at the Library on Saturday. Most books are $1-$2. The books range in genres, there are options for everyone! Note: if you have old books, the book sale accepts donations.
Boston Seafood Festival
Where: Boston Fish Pier- 212 Northern Ave. Boston, MA 02210
When: Sunday, August 7, 11am-7pm
Price: $15 for General Admission, $5 for Children, $80 for VIP Ticket Package Check out the 5th Annual Boston Seafood Festival. Hosted by the Boston Fisheries Foundation, the festival celebrates the goal, to preserve, sustain and share our seafood and maritime heritage as essential to our common health. The event is open to the public and welcomes families. Itwill feature various tastings of seafood, chef demos, educational speakers, and fun activities for children.
