Its hard to believe that we joined with Gibson domain|domain and became Gibson Sothebys International Realty 10 years ago on December 1. So much has happened, both in the Industry and within our small company.
Gibson Sothebys International Realty was built around a strong core of agents and the local legacy of Betty Gibson. We made a promise not to vary from the high level of agents that represent our brand or the culture that is fostered within. After all, it was our experienced agents and unique culture that compelled our clients to choose us.
As market changes occurred throughout the past decade, we remained steadfast in our core beliefs, as well as commitments to our clients and, equally important, our associates. Our team grew, our sales volume and market share quadrupled, and we set the standard throughout Eastern Massachusetts for White Glove service and international marketing.
We saw our share of international clients grow -- many came to us through our incredible network of hundreds of offices in dozens of countries around the globe. At the same time, Boston was becoming more international. It is as though Boston was growing in parallel with our firm, as our world became smaller and more connected.
We look to our future and know that we can build upon this track record. The world will change, but we will continue to be driven by our agents and culture. We will look for new ways to enhance our services and connect Greater Boston to the worlds most qualified buyers. We know that the best is yet to be!
