An Iowa native, Tammy DeWolfe settled in Massachusetts over 20 years ago. In that time, she has made a name for herself as top agent for Gibson Sothebys International Realty in the Westwood area, operating on the principles of Honesty, Integrity and Fairness.
People find it refreshing to have aRealtor give them honest advice, Tammy says of her personal work style. Her unique, client-focused approach is a result of her extensive experience working in retail management for both the Timberland and J-Crew companies.
Customer Service is a huge focus in the retail companies that I worked for.
Having traveled up and down the East Coast, Tammy has a refined ability to communicate with people from all walks of life. Even in the intense world of retail, she made sure to put people first. Today, I use my trouble shooting skills to give my clients the best customer service experience that I can possibly give.
Her career in real estate began after finally settling down in Massachusetts, where she started working for her father-in-law, Dick DeWolfe, the founder of the largest residential real estate company in New England at the time: The DeWolfe Company.Once this company was bought out, Tammy continued to build her experience at another local firm. In her seven years with these companies, Tammy built an impressive sales record and was awarded a number of prestigious designations including numerous Top Producer Club certificates. I built my business on going after listings that other brokers couldn't sell, she recalls, reminiscing on her early successes in real estate.
Now well established at Gibson Sothebys International Realty, Tammy attends regular, ongoing training to ensure she is always up to date on new trends, issues, and practices that will allow her to make the buying and selling process easier for her clients. She is currently certified as an Inventory Specialist, Referral Specialist, Affinity Specialist, and Certified Negotiation Specialist.
Though free time is a rarity, Tammy enjoys helping out in her community when her busy schedule allows. She is very active in both her local community and within the Massachusetts real estate industry, citing it as a great experience to meet other agents across the state. Tammy is a proud a member of the Community Service Board, National Association of Realtors, and Women's Council for Realtors, on which she served as secretary. Tammy is especially proud of her work with the Women's Council for Realtors, which is another great opportunity to meet other wonderfulsuccessful woman Realtors.
When shes not working with clients or serving her community, Tammy takes full advantage of the chance to unwind with familyespecially outdoors. I love spending time with my family; taking my dog, Churchill, for a walk, paddle boarding, biking, working out, and snow skiing.
