Forward-thinking through a timeless lens

Gibson Sotheby's International Realty hosted it's spring 2018 companywide meeting. The theme was "Timeless." The firm's Chairman, Larry Rideout, opened with a warm welcome and a discussion on the importance of focusing on people. He then offered a deeper look at company and market trends. Nicole Rideout, Director of Business Development, recapped completed initiatives, including paperless transaction management, the concierge marketing program, neighborhood guides, and the preferred partners program. She also highlighted upcoming endeavors including digital open house sign-in software, social media suite, agent films, and the new internal communications platform.
Guest speakers from Sotheby's International Realty Affiliates, LLC included John Passerini and Chaz Howard. Passerini shared the exciting new software built through a collaboration between Sotheby's International Realty and Google. Curate is an augmented reality staging app, now available on Android. It will be launched on iOs in May. Chaz Howard shared an overview of the comprehensive marketing tools available to all Sotheby's International Realty agents.

The meeting was closed with a presentation on relationship management by the CEO, Colleen Barry. Using a combination of anthropological evidence and agent success stories, she encouraged the agents to reinvest in their personal relationships.
After the close, agents joined with guests Harvey Daniel's from Miami's One Sotheby's International Realty to learn more about Zaha Hadid's landmark building 1000 Museum.
