The memory of the late Robin Williams will live on through the eclectic collection belonging to him and his film producer wife of 20 years, Marsha Garces Williams. The veteran entertainers personal belongings, moviememorabilia and art work are set to be auctioned by Sothebys in New York on October 4, 2018. Hundreds of his prized possessions will come under the hammer, including paintings by street artist Banksy and up to 40 watches from the Oscar-winning actors personal collection. The items will first be made available for viewing at a public exhibition inside Sothebys York Avenue galleries on September 29.
Frombig-hearted humorto tear-jerking emotion, exuberant stand-up comedy and dramatic Oscar-winning roles, the gifted performer left a legacy behind of warmth, love and endless laughter.

Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams will offer works spanning Marshas and Robins diverse interests and careers, all reflecting their shared passion for collecting. The autumn auction will showcase: film and entertainment memorabilia, including autographed scripts, awards, props and wardrobe associated with projects across Marshas and Robins careers; Contemporary art, including sculpture by Niki de Saint-Phalle and street art byBanksy, Shepard Fairey and Invader; more than 40 watches from Robins personal collection; a selection of bicycles and sports memorabilia; furniture and decorative art from their residences; and more.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit a number of organizations championed by both Marsha and Robin, including The Juilliard School, Wounded Warrior Project, the Challenged Athletes Foundation, and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
