Agent Spotlight: Danielle Deeb

What did you do before real estate and how did you get started in the business?

After ten years in mutual fund services, I started my own business working for five years as household personal assistant. Ive always enjoyed attending open houses on weekends just for fun, so once I had my son, it felt natural to get my real estate license. I was lucky to be able to ease into the realtor role, with the help of a good friend (and colleague) to help me learn the ropes. I truly enjoy all (ok,almostall) aspects of my career inreal estate!

What is something your clients find comfort in that makes them turn to you for their real estate needs?

I think my clients appreciate my responsiveness and organization, as well as my penchant for going beyond the call of duty. I take time to listen to my clients, and then we thoroughly discuss the different scenarios that could occur throughout their transaction. As an agent with Gibson Sotheby's International Realty, I strive to provide the white-glove service for which Sothebys International Realty is known.

What are some of your favorite local activities or organizations that you participate in?

I am currently involved in my children's school PTOs. This gives me a opportunity to meet new people and develop friendships, be in the know for the benefit of my kids, and be involved in community volunteer work.

What do you love most about where you live and work?

Ive always lived on the South Shore of Greater Boston and I cant imagine living anywhere else. Within an hour to ski or hike, minutes to boating and beaches, and quick access to a vibrant and historic city we have it all! More specifically, I live in Hull, a small beach town peninsula. Im so fortunate to wake up to the sunrise over the Atlantic and sound of waves crashing; and in the evening, I can take a short walk or bike ride to watch the sunset over Hull Bay and Boston skyline.

What are three sources of joy in your week?

That first sip of coffee each morning and a little time on my yoga mat get me powered up each day. I love the ability to set my schedule by the needs of my family and my clients. I get great satisfaction from checking off my to-do list, which I have learned to time block (thanks toNinja Selling!).
