I grew up in Weston, MA for 16 years and attended an all-girl preparatory school in the Berkshires for my last two years. Miss Hall's provided me with a wonderful cultural experience, where I had the chance to meet women from all over the world. In fact, my roommate was Miss Haiti, and I was fortunate enough to live with her family for almost a whole summer.
I continued my education at New Hampshire College's business school, where I obtained my degree in management, accounting, and computers. Throughout college, I spent most of my summers renovating old mill buildings and doing various labor jobs, bookkeeping, and commercial retail sales. Real estate seemed to always be a part of my journey, as I touched the surface of it in various management and sales jobs.
Once, while working at an e-commerce company, a close coworker suggested we obtain our real estate licenses together. Initially, I was hesitant due to the less-than-stellar reputation agents had. However, a weekend course completely changed my perspective. I had an epiphany and discovered my love for working with people and being involved in the real estate industry. I made the leap and started my career at DeWolfe Real Estate in Framingham and have found it to be the perfect location for a mother of three.
My family has lived in Southborough for over 30 years, and it has truly been the perfect place for us. In my free time, I enjoy staying active by walking my dog, Jett, at Hopkinton State Park or playing soccer. Yes, you read that right—I play soccer! I am part of a women's organization that plays weekly and even participates in tournaments around the world. We recently went to Africa in the spring of 2023, and I am hopeful to join them on their next adventure in 2025.
I'm also a sailor and spend time sailing in Boston Harbor, but I grew up and prefer sailing at Buzzards Bay. Additionally, I find joy in spending time down the Cape with my two grandchildren. Watching them explore and seeing their excitement for the simple things reminds me of how wonderful our world is, filled with amazing people and beautiful places.
