Doug Leard brings a wealth of experience in managing real estate transactions. He has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker for 40+ years and was previously a Massachusetts licensed real estate appraiser. Doug has been a Wayland resident for 38 years. He not only puts his head on a pillow at night in Wayland, but he has also served his community for many years as an elected official and a volunteer.

As a future homeowner, young people often look for good schools, a safe community, the ability to socially interact with others at sporting events, playgrounds, as well as having the ability to participate in local town wide activities. The more senior population looks for peace and quiet, safety, a place to gather and socialize with friends and neighbors and most importantly to remain in their homes for as long as possible.

Doug has always been one that pays attention to detail and the wishes of his clients. Planning ahead and anticipating the next move, whether it be a seller, a buyer, or a family member. We all know that purchasing or selling a home today is a major financial undertaking and must be treated with the utmost attention and diligence.

While continuously working to meet the real estate needs of his sellers and buyers Doug adheres to a philosophy that states “I will treat every client with the level of professionalism that I would expect if I were selling or purchasing a property.”

With a life-long interest in personal safety and preparedness, Doug has taken it upon himself to continue this dream and educate families on the importance of being prepared. To give back to his community and to say “Thank you to all his real estate clients, Doug is offering, at no cost to his buyers or sellers, an opportunity to potentially SAVE A LIFE! For every real estate transaction that “closes” Doug is offering a free of charge First Aid/CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/AED course OR an opportunity to develop an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for your family. This is Doug’s way of saying THANK YOU while helping you and your family be a better prepared family, neighbor, and resident. Please call with any questions.

In the meantime, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
