As a child, my world was very narrow. I grew up on a small farm in county Galway on the west coast of Ireland. I am the youngest of five, and I am what they call an “Irish triplet” with my twin brothers only 10 months older than me. Much of my early life involved helping on the farm where we raised cattle, sheep, and chickens. I attended a one-room schoolhouse with 6 students my age less than a mile from our farm until I was 12 years old. [...]

As a child, my world was very narrow. I grew up on a small farm in county Galway on the west coast of Ireland. I am the youngest of five, and I am what they call an “Irish triplet” with my twin brothers only 10 months older than me. Much of my early life involved helping on the farm where we raised cattle, sheep, and chickens. I attended a one-room schoolhouse with 6 students my age less than a mile from our farm until I was 12 years old.  

High school allowed me to grow a bit more since I traveled on a bus one hour each way and my high school graduating class had a total of 30 people. After high school, my world magnified even further when l I attended college in Galway city and stayed to work after graduation.  

In the early 1990s. my world expanded even further when I had an amazing opportunity to travel to America to work. America was everything I thought it would be. I worked for a large multi-national food company for many years which enabled me to travel and live in several U.S states that were a universe away from my small farm.  

Traveling and living in different states made me realize that no matter where you go, you are always looking for a place to call home, so I was drawn to real estate. I was fortunate to start my real estate career in Arlington, where have been helping buyers and sellers find their way to their new homes ever since. This vocation has been and continues to be both a challenge and a joy. I can honestly say there is no greater reward than to see a client’s face light up with sheer joy when we have successfully completed a home sale. 

It is clear I inherited the Irish love of the land and the importance of a place called home. This ideal infuses all my client relationships.
