Tobey started her real estate career in 2003, helping her husband Mike design and build custom new construction homes. She joined BOWES Real Estate in Arlington in 2006 as the office manager, and worked tirelessly with owner Bob Bowes, to build a company that placed the needs of the consumer first, consistently delivering an exceptional customer service experience and establishing a reputation for honesty, integrity and fair dealings. In July 2020, BOWES decided that the best way to grow the company was to welcome a new owner who shared their core values. Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty was selected as the perfect suitor, and Tobey took on the role of the Office Director and member of the Leadership Team.  Tobey believes that luxury is not a price point, but rather a level of service, and Gibson Sotheby’s is able to offer all buyers and sellers a suite of exclusive services designed to provide value at every stage. 

Tobey is a licensed REALTOR® and holds her Massachusetts and Maine real estate licenses. Also a Harvard graduate with a magna cum laude degree in Economics, she has extensive marketing, public relations and design experience, and loves helping agents, clients and customers see her vision of what could be.
